The Screenwise Media Panel is a Google-sponsored project in which your involvement will help to better understand how people’s use of media is changing in our society. Your use of smartphones will help Google to provide more relevant products and services for people like you.

Why should I join the Screenwise Media Panel?

By turning the meter on and letting it run, you’ll earn rewards up to Rs. 200 per month. And you'll help Google make the internet smarter. A smarter internet is better for everyone.

How do I join the Screenwise Media Panel?

You can click the Join button on the home page of this site, or go to the Join tab which will take you to the registration survey. Once we have determined you are eligible you'll be directed to download the Screenwise Panel App. Once you download and turn it on you're an active member of the panel.

Can other members of my household join the Screenwise Media Panel?

Yes, as long as they have their own smartphone with their own phone number and email.

Can I tell my friends about joining the Screenwise Media Panel?

Yes! Your friends may join from the home page of www.in.screenwisemedia.com.

What are the eligibility requirements for the Screenwise Media Panel?

You must have your own (not paid by your employer) qualifying smartphone and agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. You must be 18 to legally agree to our Terms and Conditions.

What information is being collected when the meter is running?

What do the Screenwise Media Panel Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions cover?

The Screenwise Media Panel Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions define the panelist’s relationship with Google and its partners for the duration of the time that you remain on the Screenwise Media Panel. Among other things, these documents explain how Google will collect, store, use and share information from your participation on the panel, including how data may be combined with information in your Google account.

How can I change the email address or phone number associated with my Screenwise account?

If you want to change the email or phone number associated with your Screenwise account, please send an email with your name, old email/phone number and new email/phone number to inrn_support_screenwisemedia.com@custhelp.com.

What if I get a new phone?

If you get a new phone, just download the meter again and turn it on.

What if I accidentally delete the meter?

You'll need to download the meter again. See this page for instructions.

How can I leave the Screenwise Media Panel?

We would be sorry to see you go, but if you need to leave the panel please go to this page and enter the email you registered with or email us at inrn_support_screenwisemedia.com@custhelp.com and ask us to unsubscribe you. Then simply turn off the meter.

Please note: If you email your removal request to customer support it could take 48-72 hours to fulfill, depending on when you send the request. If you use this link the removal will take less than 24 hours.

How do I install the Screenwise Media Panel app on my Android smartphone?

Once you're a member of the Screenwise Media Panel, you will be sent directions on how to access the Screenwise Panel application you need to download and install on your phone. Only panelists will be able to install and use the app.

How much data will the app use?

If you are connected via cellular networks, an average active user can expect about 5 MB / day worth of data usage. If connected via WIFI, an average active user can expect about 150 MB / day worth of data usage.

How can I earn rewards?

You earn rewards simply by letting your meter run in the background on your phone. Each month you get Rs. 100 plus a bonus. The bonus starts as Rs. 10 and goes up by Rs. 10 each month until you're earning Rs. 200 per month. And don’t forget about the 300 Rs bonus for downloading and turning on the app!

How often can I earn rewards?

You will receive a reward for downloading the meter and then each month after that in which you are active.

What can I do with the rewards I’ve earned?

You can redeem your rewards for a variety of valuable vouchers. Visit our rewards page for more details.

How do I redeem my rewards?

Each month you'll receive an email alerting you of your balance. This email will include a redemption code and a link to our rewards management site. There you can redeem your rewards for the voucher of your choice.

How long does it normally take to receive my incentive once I've redeemed my rewards?

For an electronic voucher you will receive your voucher via email within 48 hours. For a physical voucher that arrives in the mail, please allow 7-10 days.

I lost my redemption code. How can I retrieve it?

If you have not received or had your reward email misplaced please contact screenwisemedia@ovationincentives.freshdesk.com informing the name and email address that you have registered with the panel.

How can I check my accrued rewards balance?

Please note you can check the balance on your reward by entering your reward code, which you would have received on an email from us, on the appropriate field on http://www.ovationincentives.com/clients/screenwise/redeem.html Once on the webshop you can see the remaining balance on the top center of the page where it shows "Value Remaining".

I had my meter off for a few days. Will this affect my reward accrual?

As long as your meter is on for at least half the month you'll be eligible for that month's reward.

Why was the Screenwise Media Panel closed down?

Thanks to the participation of panelists like you, we have been able to gain a better understanding of people's mobile behavior. We have the information we need to make the internet better for everyone.

Will you be restarting the Screenwise Media Panel?

We do not have any plans at this time to restart the Screenwise Media Panel.

Do you have another panel I can sign up for instead?

We do not have any other panels to invite you to.

When did you stop collecting meter data?

We stopped metering on August 31, 2017.

What will you do with the data that was collected?

We will continue to review the data, as needed, to help us gain insight into how people use the internet.

Will there be any changes to my rewards?

Your rewards balance is still there. Each top up you have received has listed an expiration date (12 months from date of issue). These will not change.

What if I do not have enough for a rewards voucher?

Unfortunately there are no more opportunities to earn rewards toward your balance. We do not have the option to offer lower value rewards vouchers.

Should I delete the meter from my phone?

Yes, please remove the meter. Here are instructions for removing the meter.
